Arcoudi, Kyllinis and Kastro

Arcoudi, Kyllinis and Kastro are villages on the same peninsula as Ionion Beach and Aginara Beach Campings. They make good destinations for a short bicycle ride. Arcoudi has an excellent cafe, Kyllinis is the port for ferries to Zakinthos and Kefalonia a few miles off shore and Kastro has a very impressive hilltop castle from the Frankish days. The ruins pictured below are of the medieval port of Glarentza, now almost lost among olive groves.
