Crossing the Border from Norway into Sweden and Reaching the Arctic Circle for the Night

South of Fauske we take the Silver Road southeast to Arjeplog, crossing from Norway into Sweden on the Arctic Tundra reaching 2,500 ft (740 m). Right on the Arctic Circle, 22 miles into Sweden, there is a welcome campsite for the night. To add to these experiences, just after midnight we witness a magnificent display of the Northern Lights filling the whole sky.
